Social Skills
This Group is For:
Children who are challenged by the intricacies of our social-world- navigating friendships, respecting authority, and presenting their best selves in social settings.
Practice social thinking and self-regulation using the Social Thinking ® Curriculum. Levels 1, 2, and graduates. Group members will build skills in whole body listening, reading cues of others, managing their personal reactions to peers, and making good decisions in social settings. Group is limited to 5 children per class.
Calming Skills
This Group is For:
Kids who will benefit from new ways to improve their coping skills and emotional control.
Group members will build self-awareness skills through the “Zones of Regulation” to identify feelings and their causes, as well as explore sensory strategies to help manage the ebb and flow of these emotions. Each child will leave the group with new self-care skills & a toolbox of calming sensory objects they can use in real life situations.
Sensory Strong Kids
This Group is For:
Children who need practice with self-regulation and focused attention through sensory methods.
This sensorimotor group incorporates developmentally challenging gross motor play & sensory strategies for improved regulation. Group members will build self-awareness skills through the “Zones of Regulation” to identify feelings and their causes, as well as explore sensory strategies to help manage the ebb and flow of these emotions.
Keyboarding Skills
This Group is For:
Children who are in grades 2 through 5 who have difficulty with handwriting or would like to learn basic keyboarding skills.
Learn the basics of online communication and typing skills through the Learning Without Tears simplified approach to the Keyboarding in a fun environment.
Bike Clinic
This Group is For:
Elementary School aged children who are looking to gain confidence on a two-wheels!
Pre-School Play Pals
This Group is For:
Join us for a sensorimotor group, providing developmentally appropriate socialization & gross motor play for children 3-5 years old.
Children will build sensorimotor and social-emotional skills through developmental play strategies in our sensory rich setting.
Enrollment for all Groups
New Students
New students must participate in a group assessment process with one of our clinicians prior to acceptance into the group.

Focused Topic Workshops
Boston Sensory Solutions, Inc. offers a variety of topical programs for both children and their caregivers.
A sampling of programs we have run in the past are:
- When Kids Worry– using the book, What to do When You Worry Too Much, by Dawn Huebner, Ph.D.
- When Kids Feel Angry- using the book What to Do When Your Temper Flares by Dawn Huebner, Ph.D.
- Meeting spot for the annual Milton SEPAC vendor night.
- Parent education with Avalanche Advocacy. This was a 5-week class, training parents in collaborative problem-solving.
- Parent appreciation evenings.
